Effective date: May 10, 2026.
These Terms govern your use of the ReplyDeck Chrome extension (the “Extension”) and the website at https://replydeck.app (the “Site”). By installing the Extension or buying a Pro license, you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, don’t use ReplyDeck.
We’ve tried to write this in plain English. If something is genuinely unclear, email us at support@replydeck.app before relying on it.
1. What ReplyDeck does
ReplyDeck is a Chrome extension that helps you post replies on Reddit using your own AI provider API key. You configure one or more “personas” with a tone and voice. You select subreddits. The Extension watches those subreddits in your browser, picks posts, and uses your AI key to generate replies that post under your Reddit account.
ReplyDeck is a tool you operate. You — not us — are responsible for what gets posted under your Reddit account.
2. Your responsibilities
By using ReplyDeck, you agree that:
- You’ll comply with Reddit’s Terms of Service and the rules of every subreddit you post in. Reddit is the final arbiter of what’s allowed on Reddit. ReplyDeck doesn’t override Reddit’s rules.
- You’ll comply with the terms of your AI provider (OpenAI, Anthropic, OpenRouter, etc.). They have their own acceptable use policies, billing, and rate limits. Their costs are your costs.
- You won’t use ReplyDeck for spam, harassment, fraud, deceptive marketing, illegal content, or content that violates third-party rights (copyright, trademark, privacy).
- You won’t impersonate a real person through your personas. Personas are creative voices, not identity theft.
- You won’t share your license key publicly or sell it. A license is for one user across as many of your own Chrome profiles as you want, but it isn’t a product to resell.
- You’re at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, whichever is higher.
- The Reddit account(s) you use with ReplyDeck are yours.
If you’re using ReplyDeck for a business, you confirm you have authority to bind that business to these Terms.
3. The license you receive
When you pay $29 (USD), you receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable, perpetual license to use the Pro tier of the Extension on your own Chrome profiles, subject to these Terms. “Perpetual” means we don’t expire your license; it doesn’t mean we promise the service runs forever.
You may not:
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source of any non-public component (server-side code, our AI prompts, or our infrastructure).
- Resell, sublicense, or redistribute the Extension or your license key.
- Use the Extension to build a competing product or service.
We may terminate or revoke a license without refund if you materially violate these Terms — for example, by using ReplyDeck for spam, by sharing your key, or by abusing our servers.
4. Payment & refunds
- Pricing is $29 USD, one-time, no subscription, paid via Stripe at checkout. Your payment is between you and Stripe; we don’t see or store your payment details.
- All sales are final. Because the license is delivered immediately and digitally, we don’t offer refunds in the normal course. If something goes seriously wrong (you didn’t receive your license email, the Extension is fundamentally broken, etc.), email support@replydeck.app and we’ll work with you in good faith — including refunds on a case-by-case basis.
- If your local consumer law gives you a statutory right to a refund (e.g. EU 14-day right of withdrawal for digital goods that haven’t been “started”), we honor it. Note that activating your license counts as “starting” the service.
- Chargebacks: if you initiate a payment dispute through your card issuer, your license is automatically revoked. We’re a small product; chargebacks cost us multiple times the purchase price plus fees. If you’re unhappy, email us first.
5. Service availability
- We run our backend on Cloudflare’s infrastructure. We aim for high availability but don’t guarantee uptime.
- We may take services offline for maintenance or to fix issues. Brief outages don’t constitute a breach of these Terms.
- We may change or discontinue features, including persona sync, license verification, or the email pipeline. If we discontinue a paid feature in a way that materially reduces what you bought, we’ll work with affected users in good faith — including pro-rata refunds where appropriate.
- If we ever shut down ReplyDeck entirely, we’ll give license holders at least 30 days’ notice and we’ll publish a way to export your persona data.
6. AI-generated content disclaimer
Replies posted via ReplyDeck are generated by an AI model you’ve chosen and configured. We don’t control the AI provider, the model, or the prompts you craft.
You acknowledge that AI-generated text may be:
- Inaccurate, biased, or misleading. AI models hallucinate. Don’t rely on them for medical, legal, financial, or safety-critical advice.
- Offensive, insensitive, or off-tone. Even with safety filters, generated content can land badly. Reddit communities have norms; the AI doesn’t always read them.
- Unintentionally similar to existing content. AI training data overlaps with public text on the internet.
You are solely responsible for reviewing what gets posted under your Reddit account. Use Review Mode (when available) if you want a human-in-the-loop step before posting.
7. Reddit account safety
ReplyDeck includes risk warnings to help you avoid Reddit’s anti-spam detection (volume thresholds, interval timing, subreddit count). These warnings are guidance, not guarantees.
- We don’t guarantee your Reddit account won’t be banned, suspended, or shadowbanned as a result of using ReplyDeck.
- Reddit’s policies change. Their detection systems change. We adjust the Extension’s defaults over time but can’t promise to stay ahead of every shift.
- If your Reddit account is actioned in a way you believe was caused by ReplyDeck, we’ll work with you to understand what happened, but we don’t refund licenses or compensate users for Reddit-side actions.
8. Disclaimers
THE EXTENSION AND THE SITE ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, OR THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE.
We don’t warrant that:
- The Extension is compatible with every future version of Chrome, Reddit, or your AI provider.
- The Extension produces replies of any particular quality.
- The Extension will continue to work if Reddit changes its UI or scraping protections.
9. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:
- Our total cumulative liability to you, for any claim arising from your use of ReplyDeck, is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim (typically $29 or zero).
- We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, business interruption, or harm to your Reddit account or reputation.
Some jurisdictions don’t allow these limitations; in those jurisdictions, the limitations apply to the extent permitted.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any third-party claims arising from your use of ReplyDeck — including claims by Reddit, by AI providers, by users you replied to, or by anyone alleging that content posted under your account harmed them. This includes legal fees and reasonable expenses.
11. Privacy
How we handle data is described in our Privacy Policy. The Privacy Policy is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. If a change is material — for example, changing the refund policy, the license grant, or the limitation of liability — we’ll email license holders and update the “Effective date” at the top of this page. Your continued use of ReplyDeck after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
13. Termination
You can stop using ReplyDeck any time by uninstalling the Extension. To delete your cloud data, email support@replydeck.app.
We can terminate your license — with or without notice — if you violate these Terms. Termination doesn’t entitle you to a refund except as described in Section 4.
The clauses that should survive termination (Disclaimers, Limitation of Liability, Indemnification, Governing Law) survive.
14. Governing law & disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, USA, excluding its conflict-of-laws rules.
Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of ReplyDeck will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Natrona County, Wyoming, except where consumer-protection law gives you the right to bring a claim in your local courts.
15. Miscellaneous
- Entire agreement: These Terms (with the Privacy Policy) are the entire agreement between you and us regarding ReplyDeck.
- Severability: If any provision is unenforceable, the rest stays in effect.
- No waiver: Our not enforcing a right at any time doesn’t waive that right.
- Assignment: You can’t assign these Terms. We can — typically in the case of a sale of the business — provided your rights aren’t materially diminished.
